HOW DIVERSITY CHAMPION SERVICES CAME TO BE
Meet the founder / CEO
Alix deTanya
*sHe is a bilingual CEO - HR Advisor with 15 years of experience in talent attraction, and skills management combined with a decade in business development, and direct client services.
​
Alix graduated from Concordia University in 2006. Passionate to master English as a second language, and to understand economic and labour relations, sHe received an honours in English literature and a major in political science.
​
Alix then entered the world of human resources with all its dynamic complexities. First, as an HR Generalist assisting to build a new department for a finance and trade start-up. Afterwards, Alix joined large, established mining and transportation companies to experience fast paced global recruitment projects. These included international coordinated hires and national RPO units navigating multiple collective agreements.
Having enjoyed all the main responsibilities in the HR pipeline, from hiring to terminations, sHe then sought to add another career dimension by learning the operational art of 360 placements. Alix became a full cycle business development specialist, and a talent acquisition consultant in 2014.
Ever since, Alix is a big fan of hunting for new career opportunities in the targeted market and searching methodically for the right expert open to a more challenging career option.
Alix, also directly services specialized professionals needing a fully dedicated HR strategist confidently promoting their profile to an employer of choice on their career wish list.
With a decade of experience in specialized searches, sHe has connected many industry leaders, primarily in the finance, accounting, and executive domains.
Alix deTanya created DCS - Diversity Champion Services to thrive at their 360 finest in a space that allowed gender fluid expression to be validated and truly integrated in the professional realm.
